While we saw some deer, we were blanked during the firearms opener in 2014. Moreover, in stark contrast to the muzzleloader trip, we didn’t see a single bear (though there were lots of bear pix on the trail cameras).
The Big Field continued to have the most sightings, though several of those were these two young deer we dubbed ‘Bro and Sis’.
Other wildlife sightings:
- We saw deer all over the property, including the Big Field, the New Field, the Goodwin property, and the Tirrell field
