Sittin’ Rock Farm, owned by Michael and Dorothy Cerruti, is comprised of roughly 222 acres of mostly forested land located in northern Buckingham County approximately 12 miles southwest of Scottsville, VA. The property is on the James River just west of Rock Island, and the river serves as its northern border. Warren Ferry Road forms the western border and the property extends as far east as Rock Island Creek in the extreme southeastern portion of the parcel. A topo map is located here.
The property serves as a getaway for family vacations, a staging point for local canoeing/kayaking/rafting and fishing outings, and as a hunting lodge.
