Spray amounts
2 tablespoons per gallon each of Imidan (insecticide) and Captan (fungicide)
*** Also use Pinene II (a sticker-spreader-extender)
Procedure
- Wear gloves, goggles, and respirator
- Fill sprayer with the amount of water required
- Add chemicals per chart above
- Agitate/mix VERY WELL (5 minutes)
- Spray with as fine a mist as possible on both leaves and limbs, watching for drift, until the product just drips off leaves
- Best to spray in low wind (to avoid drift) and after dusk (to avoid as much as possible affecting beneficial pollinators)
- Remember, you’re spraying an insecticide, so it will kill even beneficial pollinators
- When spraying is complete, run a gallon or more of clean water thru the sprayer
- Suggest you take a shower after spraying
